Exterior
Design
Built with
a reinforced steel box frame, the Mercedes-Benz G-Class is shaped and sized to
simultaneously maximize interior space and increase maneuverability in tight
spaces around San Francisco.
This luxury
SUV carries a timeless but modern design, led by intelligent LED headlamps.
These adapt to darkness, Bay Area curves, and other vehicles ahead on Belmont
streets. LED Daytime Running Lamps encircle each unit. There are also LEDs for the
G-Class SUV's taillamps and fender-top turn signals.
Choose
between G-Class 19- or 20-inch wheels. There are also over three dozen G-Class
paint colors for Redwood City drivers to choose from. They have 14 'G
Manufaktur' custom paint options, headlined by Desert Sand, Jupiter Red, Deep
Green, Olive Metallic, South Sea Blue Metallic, and Sintered Bronze
Mango.

Immerse
yourself in the G-Class SUV's state-of-the-art panoramic cockpit featuring
intuitive steering-wheel Touch Controls and 64-color LED ambient lighting. The
latter feature will elevate moods of passengers on the way back from the
Belmont Farmers Market or dinner in downtown San Francisco.
The
furnished cabin includes natural wood appointments, hand-fitted leather seating
options, hot stone massage settings, tri-zone automatic climate control,
acoustic glass, and a sunroof with heat-rejecting glass. This is the roomiest
G-Class SUV yet, offering seating for five passengers and letting Bay Area
families flex between 38.1 to 68.6 cubic feet of cargo space depending on the
trip.

Performance
This icon
was once a workhorse. Now the G 550 is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine
that achieves 416 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque, while working with
the CIMTRONIC system to save fuel. DYNAMIC SELECT drive modes allow Belmont motorists
to fine-tune their G-Class SUV's performance. Enjoy wide gear spans with the
2-speed transfer case, which teams up with the 9-speed transmission.
Thanks to
signature 4-wheel drive and three lockable differentials, the G-Class enhances
its off-road ability for climbing and fording depth. There's also improved
maneuverability both off-road and in town through San Francisco streets. A
modern independent double-wishbone front suspension, a rigid rear axle, and
electric power steering work together to bolster off-roading capability and
sharpen on-road precision along the 101 Freeway.

Technology
The G-Class
comes with dual 12.3-inch displays. A standard 12.3-inch central display serves
as a tech hub, while a secondary screen serves as a digital instrument cluster
display and is placed directly in front of Bay Area drivers. The COMMAND® (Cockpit
Management and Data) system has a touchpad controller and gives Belmont drivers
access to entertainment, voice control navigation, and convenience features.
Mercedes me connect makes G-Class ownership easy for Bay Area drivers, who can
lock or unlock their luxury SUV and utilize features like Wi-Fi, remote-start,
and vehicle monitoring.
Safety
The G-Class
is protective when you travel to Bay Area nature spots or as you traverse 101
Freeway traffic between San Francisco and San Jose. Blind Spot Assist, Speed
Limit Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, and Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC
Cruise Control are standard G-Class safety features.
