EQS 580 4MATIC®

Exterior Design

The EQS Sedan offers a 450+ model, a 580 4MATIC® AWD model, and an AMG® model, while the EQS SUV offers a lone 580 4MATIC® AWD model. Each EQS from Mercedes-EQ features an aerodynamic design, emphasized by its archer's bow shape. The sedan has rides on wheels between 20 and 22 inches while offering an AMG® Line Exterior. The SUV is significantly larger.

Interior Design

Families from Belmont and San Francisco can utilize 74 cubic of cargo space in the EQS SUV, which seats five passengers. Both EQS models from Mercedes-EQ come with 64-color LED ambient interior lighting and HEPA filtration.

Performance

The EQS Sedan has a 107.8 kWh battery capacity and can travel for 350 miles around the Bay Area on a single charge. Families from San Francisco can choose the EQS SUV for 305 miles of all-electric range from a 108.4 kWh battery.

Each EQS is powered by electric motors, with the sedan outputting between 329 and 516 ponies, along with 417 pound-feet of torque. Even more powerful is the EQS SUV, which delivers between 355 and 536 horsepower. With 4MATIC® all-wheel drive in these Mercedes-EQ models, the sedan and SUV have optimal traction support driving around the Bay Area. Rear-axle steering, self-leveling AIRMATIC® air suspensions, and DYNAMIC SELECT drive modes give each EQS a performance edge over other luxury EVs.

Technology

The EQS unites 56 inches of high-tech displays through the MBUX Hyperscreen spanning the dash. There are twin 12.3-inch screens for a passenger display and driver's digital instrument cluster, while a 17.7-inch OLED touchscreen is a central hub for infotainment. Each EQS is equipped with artificial intelligence through a 'zero-layer' tech setup to recognize fingerprints and faces, learn over time, and memorize hundreds of preferences.

To keep San Francisco families entertained on the way to school, the Belmont Sports Complex, Water Dog Lake, or relatives on the other side of the Bay Area, the EQS SUV provides removable tablets in the armrest and second-row touchscreens. Because they are EVs, these EQS models from Mercedes-EQ feature Electric Intelligence through MB Navigation. This makes it easy for Bay Area luxury EV owners to plan driving routes and optimize range before recharging around San Francisco or the Silicon Valley. For an exclusive Mercedes-EQ sound experience, the EQS offers the Burmester® 3D Surround Sound system.
