Exterior Design

Crisp and aerodynamic lines make up this all-electric SUV's exterior. Its sculpted form results in a low drag coefficient to boost 2023 EQB performance. The 2023 EQB has a long 111-inch wheelbase and shows off a continuous front and rear light strip to signal it's a leading member of the Mercedes-EQ family. In addition to full-width LED lighting, the EQB has a wide power liftgate that red rear lighting spans. EV buyers from San Mateo can select one of five EQB wheel designs measuring 18 to 19 inches.

Interior Design

The EQB seats five passengers, but Belmont families can expand seating to seven with the optional 50/50-split third row seats. Utilize 24 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats of this SUV from Mercedes-EQ, which offers 64-color cabin lighting and massaging front seats. The power memory seats can be heated or ventilated as Redwood City drivers ride to the Belmont Sports Complex or Water Dog Lake. A giant panorama roof allows San Francisco EQB owners to stargaze. There's even 2023 EQB-exclusive backlit dash trim and dual-zone climate control in this all-electric luxury SUV.

Performance

The EQB provides 250 miles of all-electric range before Redwood City EV owners need to recharge. It takes 32 minutes to gain a 70% charge at a Bay Area public charging station around San Francisco or San Mateo. The EQB features a 420-volt Lithium-ion battery with a battery capacity ranging between 66.5 and 70.7 kWh.

Offering the longest range, the EQB 250+ outputs 188 horsepower and 254 pound-feet of torque from a single electric motor. Dual electric motors power the EQB 300, which produces 225 ponies and 288 pound-feet of torque while providing 243 miles of all-electric range. If San Mateo drivers select the dual-motor EQB 350 with 227 miles of range, they'll be able to harness 288 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque. The EQB gives Belmont drivers better grip and handling with 4MATIC® all-wheel drive. ECO Assist helps the EQB save energy traveling between San Mateo and San Francisco.

Technology

The EQB's Interior Widescreen Cockpit features twin 10.25-inch screens. One is a multimedia display providing San Mateo drivers with smartphone access through Apple CarPlay/Android Auto™ integration. The other is a digital instrument cluster display. MBUX Multimedia features Natural Language Understanding in the EQB, which offers Navigation with Electric Intelligence. This enhanced augmented reality setup manages journey times around the Bay Area and beyond. The EQB monitors San Francisco weather, factors in the personal driving style of San Mateo motorists, and assesses Bay Area topography to calculate range in real-time. By adding the 12-speaker Burmester Surround Sound System, Belmont EQB owners can enjoy a bespoke listening experience riding to the Twin Pines Art Center.

Safety

The Head-Up Display projects real-time information onto the windshield where Redwood City drivers can easily read it and keep their eyes peeled on Bay Area traffic. Standard safety features include Blind Spot Assist and Exit Assist.
